New to CVS?
First signup for a CVS Extra Care Card to receive instant savings and Extra Bucks on items featured in CVS’s weekly circular and monthly ECB booklet (see your store for a monthly ECB booklet). After you signup for your Extra Care Card, be sure to register your email for additional savings. You can signup and register at cvs.com
Then check your weekly CVS circular for sales and items that earn Extra Care Bucks (ECB’s) ***the key to saving more, is to combine the deals with coupons!
In the beginning you will pay out of pocket (OOP) for a few items. But then the ECB's that print on your receipt, immediately following qualifying purchases, will start to add up!
Many times you will actually receive your items for free. Here are a couple ways to obtain the items for free:
1.) A few times a month, CVS will have items for FREE after ECB. In other words, they will sell a product for say $2 and then give you back $2 in ECB’s.
2.) Also if CVS has a product on sale for Buy one Get one Free (BOGO) you can combine it with a Buy one Get one Free manufacturer’s coupon and get both items for free.
3.) Combine a sale item with a coupon
You can also combine CVS coupons with Manufacturers coupons for even extra savings.
And occasionally CVS will even email you coupons, for example a $2 off $10, $4 off $20 coupon and other coupons…
Note: ECB deals usually have limits per household, in other words you can only buy the quantity mentioned in the advertisement – it will say “Limit 1 per household, or Limit 2 per household, and so on …”
Tip: *When handing the coupons to the cashier, always hand them in order and one at a time. For example if you have $10 worth of items and a $2 off $10 coupon you would give the $2 off $10 coupon first, since that coupon is applicable to the subtotal before coupons. Then hand your remaining coupons in small batches, or one at a time to make certain your coupon is applied. It is too easy for the cashier to accidentally miss a coupon if you hand them one big batch of crumpled coupons. Then go ahead and pay with your usual payment method, or previously earned ECB's.
