I decided to make a second trip to CVS. I went there yesterday and I thought I picked up one of the Revlon Limited edition lipsticks $9.99 (free after ECB deal), but it must have fallen out of my cart before I went to the checkout. So I was off to CVS for a couple more deals ;). See picture below.
The pretzels were just an impulse item $1.19. They looked yummy - pretzels with peanut butter in them! But next time I should eat something, along with my really large cup of coffee, before I head out the door. I look forward to trying the pretzels this evening when I watch a little HGTV. I hope they're better than some of the other CVS brand snacks I've tried - I figure how can they go wrong with pretzels and peanut butter.
I also picked up a 3 more Powerades for $2 - they were $1 each and I used a "buy two get 1 free" coupon. My teenage son likes them and I'd rather him drink these instead of all the soda he's been drinking lately. We normally don't buy too much soda, but we had my niece and nephew visit us for a week so I wanted to make sure there were plenty of drinks around. Ironically, they didn't care for soda too much, so my son's making sure it doesn't go to waste ;)
I also picked up some Colgate toothpaste. I had a soon to expire CVS coupon for $1 off Colgate - I combined it with a manufacturer's $1 off coupon, so the 1.77 toothpaste was free
My total was $13.05. I paid with $12 in ECBs, plus $1.05 cash.
I came home with $9.99 ECBS, and some new coupons to add to my *new coupon organizer*.
