Homemade Cleaners - Frugal Cleaning Tips

I have to admit, I should use homemade cleaners more often! They're free of harmful chemicals, and they work well. With all the coupon deals for convenient cleaning products, I've almost forgotten about homemade cleaners.

Use vinegar to clean your Microwave: Combine ¼ cup water and ¼ cup of vinegar into a microwave safe bowl. Heat for about a minute, until it boils. Let it sit. Leave microwave door closed for an additional minute to allow the steam to loosen any dried particles. Then open microwave and carefully use the warm vinegar mixture to clean the microwave.

Use baking soda to clean your Refrigerator: Just sprinkle a little baking soda onto a warm damp cloth. Use it like any other cleaner, then rinse with warm water.

Window Cleaner: Mix ¼ cup vinegar with ½ tsp of dish soap and 2 cups of water! Pour mixture into a spray bottle, and
use it like any other window cleaner.

Or simply use windshield washer fluid. Windshield washer fluid's is less expensive than most window cleaners, and comes in a large bottle.

Do you make your own cleaners? What cleaner do you use most!
