Here's an updated picture of our little visitor

Well we said we weren't going to name him. We know he's feral and doesn't want to come in and cuddle with us. But he does visit us daily for food, and he looks inside our house. So we how could we resist, we started calling him Sugarcane.

He is a cutie! I read the other blog on Sugarcane, and you may be right, it's probably impossible to tame him. He looks like an older cat, and there's no telling how long he's been wild. I hate seeing wild cats myself, as we have a kitten ourselves and couldn't imagine her being wild! Cats are already less domesticated then dogs so it may be a harder task to tame them. Can you catch him? Has he ever let you touch him? Or is he the type that will run off once you open the door or once he sees you? You seem like you're already doing a great job on helping him though! And apparently he likes to come "home" because he keeps coming back! Good luck and I'll be sure to check back for updates on your progress!

He runs away when I open the door - I've tried to lure him with kitty treats, but he waits until I leave. So I'm going to continue to feed him and provide shelter as long as he's around. He is fun to watch, today he was napping on one of my lawn chairs :)

Cats are such funny animals! I like to watch them jump and hop around!
